SMS Opt-In Consent

How we collect consent to send text messages · Last Updated: June 15, 2026

This page documents how Nightlight Sleep LLC collects explicit, affirmative consent before sending any SMS text messages. It exists so the exact opt-in language and consent control can be reviewed directly, without completing our online assessment.

Where consent is collected

Consent is collected through a web form on the final step of our free pediatric sleep assessment at quiz.nightlightsleep.com. The assessment is a six-step quiz; the phone number field and the SMS consent checkbox appear together only on the last step, after the assessment questions. No phone numbers are collected by any other method.

How consent is given

Directly below the phone number field is a separate, optional checkbox that is unchecked by default. Checking the box is not required to submit the form or to receive the assessment results — it is entirely voluntary. A visitor who leaves it unchecked still completes the assessment and is never sent any SMS messages. Opting in requires the visitor's explicit, affirmative action of checking the box. Consent to receive SMS is never a condition of any service, purchase, or transaction, and opt-in information is never shared with third parties for their own marketing.

The consent control, exactly as shown on the form

On the live form this checkbox renders unchecked and is optional — it is not required to submit the form; it is shown here only to make the control visible.
